One hundred. One hundred posts and counting.
It has been just eight months since the creation of this blog, and I am positively blown away about what it has grown into. Over these short eight months, I have chronicled the nitty gritty details of my life, and have let you all into my own little world. You have all been with me through the good and the bad , and have followed me through the eras of Hamlet, Siren, Polo and the infamous “Him”. You have trailed me through my friendships with Witt and Nat, and taken the advice of Red, Lilly, and Wiens. It has been quite a journey, and I am glad that I have been able to share it with you all.
This blog started out as simply a project for my Digital Media class, but it soon turned into something much more. Over these eight months I have attempted to be as honest as I could be in order to provide my readers with not only real life experiences, but also lessons that can be taken. I cannot explain how amazing it is to know that through my experiences others have taken my posts to heart and are on the path to improving their lives.
This blog grew into something I never thought possible, but my writing was never short of drama for there have definitely been some challenges. Writing about the stories of others has brought forward some drama over the months for it has definitely broken some privacy rules…especially the privacy of “Him”.
I have received multitudes of questions about my relationships and tons of questions regarding “Him” and I think that it is time to set the record straight. I think without breaching any trust or privacy, it is best to say that people grow apart. As you all may know, I definitely had fallen hard for him…which is why it was even harder to leave and separate myself. He will always have a permanent place in my heart, and I will definitely cherish the memories we have shared together. Yes, he may have hurt me immensly and he might have changed…but I cannot forget how the guy showered and cleaned me up after I drunkenly threw up all over myself (and others if I may add) after a night out; the good memories tend to outweigh the bad.
I have also received some messages about my Nat and Witt! The girls are doing well, and I definitely miss them immensely. Living as roomies this upcoming August should be interesting, but we will definitely have many stories to share.
As for me, I am in a dry spell for dating. People ask me all the time who I am seeing, or if I am even seeing anyone, but…when you hate everyone equally it makes dating rather difficult (Kidding). Being said, I am interested in someone at the moment, but will it work out? Who knows. The summer is four months of fun, and the road does not stop here. As long as you keep reading, I will definitely keep writing for there is never a shortage of drama in my life.
Lastly, thank you everyone for your continuous support and love. I am glad that you have been able to take something out of my mistakes and learn something in every post.
Keep reading, for my journey does not end yet.
